Cómo os comentábamos en este post, en 2020 el Proyecto Xipfundo amplía horizontes en muchos sentidos. Incluso en el sentido más literal pues dos ahijados de Khanimambo, Alberto Nhambombe y Alberto Tivane se dirigen directamente a la línea del horizonte gracias a que Peri-Peri Divers les ha concedido una beca a cada uno para que consigan el Certificado PADI Divemaster, con el que se les abrirá una ventana de oportunidades laborales considerables, además de vivir una experiencia única que ningún ahijado de Khanimambo ha explorado todavía.
Es emocionante saber que dos niños de Khanimambo han elegido esta opción de formación, tan válida como cualquier otra. El camino no será fácil porque la exigencia es total en esta escuela. Tendrán que estudiar mucho y preparase físicamente para todos los nuevos desafíos. Por ahora ya están instalados en Tofo, practicando inglés y han empezado las clases con un bautizo de piscina.
Peri-Peri Divers es la mejor escuela de buceo de Tofo, un bello pueblecito turístico a 300 km de Xai-Xai, en la provincia de Inhambane. Además ofrecen rutas y paquetes turísticos relacionados con este deporte acuático. Uno de los más solicitados es el Ocean Safari, con el que tienes la oportunidad de nadar junto a los majestuosos tiburones ballena. Nuestra relación con Steve y Martina, dueños y gerentes del negocio, viene de muy lejos. Alexia les conoce desde 2008, en los albores de Khanimambo y la verdad es que sentimos admiración mutua por nuestros proyectos de vida en Mozambique.
Es por ello que nos hace muchísima ilusión iniciar esta colaboración y agradecemos de forma muy sincera la oportunidad que están dando a jóvenes de Khanimambo, del mismo modo que ya han hecho con jóvenes de la provincia de Inhambane.

In 2020 the Xipfundo Project expands horizons in many ways. Even in the most literal sense as two godchildren of Khanimambo, Alberto Nhambombe and Alberto Tivane go directly to the horizon line because Peri-Peri Divers has granted a scholarship to each one to obtain the PADI Divemaster Certificate. A window of considerable job opportunities will be opened for them, in addition to living a unique experience that no godchild of Khanimambo has yet explored.
It’s exciting to know that two Khanimambo children have chosen this training option, as valid as any other. The trip will not be easy because the requirement is total in this school. They will have to study hard and prepare physically for all the new challenges. For now they’re already installed in Tofo, practicing English and have started classes with a pool baptism.
Peri-Peri Divers is the best diving school in Tofo, a beautiful tourist village 300 km from Xai-Xai in the province of Inhambane.
